This two building project is home to an NYS HCR funded senior housing building, and an NYC HPD funded affordable family apartment building. The senior development building provides 62,515 sq. ft. of affordable housing for senior tenants, spread out over 6 stories and divided into 67 individual units. Residents have access to amenities that include a community room, on-site laundry facilities, and parking. The adjoining affordable family building is a 7-story structure that features an additional 117 individual apartment units. Combined, the two buildings in this development have added over 170,000 sq. ft. of residential and community facilities to a neighborhood that was in desperate need of affordable living space. In order for this project to be successfully developed, our firm had to work diligently with both the city and state to ensure all aspects of the project met the necessary approvals of each agency. The depth of interagency coordination required to make this project happen has become a mainstay of our professional experience.
